Academisation Consultation
Hady Primary School is considering conversion to an academy and joining Chorus Education Trust. The initial stages of the process include consideration of this question by the regional Advisory Board of the Department for Education (DfE). We are pleased to say that our initial proposal was approved by the Advisory Board. This enables us to move to the next stage of the process, which involves full consultation with parents, carers and other stakeholders. The consultation period will run for six weeks from 6th November 2023.

If you wish to seek further clarification on what the impact of the proposed change would be, we will be holding a parent/community consultation meeting on Tuesday, 21st November 2023 from 5-6pm in the school hall. We also have a dedicated email address set up to receive queries: consultation@hady.derbyshire.sch.uk
This is an exciting opportunity for our school, and we hope that this consultation period will help our parents and community to learn more the advantages and possibilities that will come to us through joining Chorus so they can share in our enthusiasm.
